3. Lift Passes + Ski Hire
When booking with SkiLivigno, we include lift passes and ski hire in our packages.
A lift pass gives you access to Livigno’s extensive ski area, and if you travel during selected promotional periods, you may even qualify for Livigno’s Free Ski Pass promotion, where we include the lift pass for free, as part of your stay!
Ski hire is also included in our packages, where you will be fitted for skis or a snowboard, boots, helmets and poles if you choose them.
Our packages including lift passes, ski hire, accommodation and airport transfes can cost anywhere from R18 000 – R40 000 depending on your choices.
5. Ski Lessons
Lessons are by no means compulsory, but are definitely recommended for beginners.
Whether you’re travelling alone, as a family or with friends, a qualified instructor in a group or private setting, will help you build confidence much faster than trying to learn independently.
Private lessons cost more than group lessons but allow for personalised instruction.
Group ski lessons cost around R2800 for a full week of lessons. Private lessons are priced based on the number of people in the group, but can be anywhere from R800 – R1200 per person per day.
6. Food & Drinks
One of Livigno’s biggest advantages is its duty-free status.

If you cannot make those arrival times, we can organise private transfers at an additional cost.
8. Travel Insurance
Never travel without comprehensive travel insurance that includes winter sports cover. Keep in mind that you do get ‘free’ travel insurance when you pay for flights on your credit card (by your card company) and also explore your Medical Aid, which generally provides free international cover at no additional cost. Be sure to check with them beforehand.
Otherwise, you can get travel insurance with TIC for R1150 per person.
