The ski resort of Livigno in Italy, is well know as THE snow-safe skiing and snowboarding paradise in Europe. Livigno was awarded the World Snow Award for best European Ski Resort in 2016. It’s altitude allows for excellent snow conditions and the ski season stretches from November to April each year with 115 km of wide ski runs to enjoy (12 black, 37 red and 29 blue pistes) for all grades of skiers on both sides of the wide and sunny valley.
Fantastic! Livigno offers lively après-ski to suit all tastes from as soon as you step off the slopes. Choose between traditional Italian restaurants serving local cuisine (eating out is inexpensive), restaurants serving excellent pizzas, or go straight for the nightlife consisting of lively bars and fun pubs. Try Marcos and Daphnes pub for a draft Guinness or head to the resort disco to dance the night away. Bargain hunters can enjoy extensive duty-free shopping.
Add to that the ‘Mega Fun Park 2’ which is acknowledged as one of the best terrain parks anywhere in the Alps. The 33 modern lifts are easily accessible either on foot or by the frequent ski bus.
Away from the slopes, the center of Livigno with its characteristic wooden buildings, has a pedestrian zone with an impressive variety of duty-free shops selling all types of goods. In addition there are bars galore, an abundance of pizzerias and restaurants and a bustling night life for night owls.
