The village is, for most of the year, characterized by magnificent whitewashed landscapes and the slopes are always fanatical and perfectly groomed! Livigno is frequented by a very international audience and is known as one of the most beautiful ski resorts in Europe with a wide range of ski slopes and things to do. The peculiarity of Livigno is to be in a valley with North-South disposition that offers the possibility to find slopes in the sun from morning to evening. The two sides of Livigno offer the possibility to ski in two main areas and make different slopes: Mottolino and Carosello 3000.

Snowboarding

Livigno is also the home for snowboarders and freeskiers thanks to its many areas with Snow Park, there are in fact three main areas. The Snowpark Amerikan which is the most recent, the historical Snowpark Mottolino with half and super pipes, rails and kickers and Livigno Park Carosello 3000, on the Polvere slope, reachable with the cable car Carosello 3000 which offers a wonderful boarder cross slope.

Crosscountry skiing

For cross-country skiers Livigno turns out to be a real paradise! In fact there are more than 30 km of slopes that wind from Forcola to the magnificent lake of Livigno and for the more experienced there is the technical slope “Marianna Longa”. Cross-country skiing in Livigno is truly spectacular as the trails are located right in the center of the village flanked by the slopes of Carosello and Mottolino.

Aquagranda

Aquagranda Active you! is one of the biggest centres in Europe where you can meet fun, sport, relax and live well – the ideal place also for training in the mountains. But Aquagranda is not only sport and performance, but also a lot of relaxation and fun. Then there is the Wellness&Relax area, characterized by a mountain atmosphere in which you can immerse yourself in a path of tranquility and silence.

Paragliding

You can not miss the thrill of paragliding in the skies of Livigno and admire the landscape from above. You will take off from the slopes with your skis at your feet and fly over the snowy peaks of Little Tibet at an altitude of tens of meters. This is a truly unique and exciting experience that will stay with you forever, thanks to the memory of your video shot with an HD camera to relive this moment whenever you want.

Shopping

This is really an idea for everyone who’s on the hunt for business! Livigno is in fact a duty-free resort and in the central streets of the village you can find high tech shops, perfumeries, branded clothing where you can buy tax free. A large high mountain outlet where you can find everything, but be careful, check all the regulations and remember to declare any purchases in customs so as not to run into unpleasant checks or fines.

Fun parks, tubing, ice-skating & snowmobiles

Go and try them all – there are enough fun and training parks and activities for everyone. If you’re not experienced or are with your kids, nobody will ever get bored. Livigno proves that Italy with kids is a mission possible! Different non-steep slopes of different length will satisfy anyone, some of them feel like race slopes (they even measure your time). If you’re not into skiing or snowboarding, you can try the tubing. Or if you’re not into snow at all, you may try ice-skating or driving a snowmobile around a proper size circuit in the valley.

Fat Bikes

For those who don’t know, the “Fat Bikes” are those bikes characterized by big wheels, suitable for cycling on the snow! There are dedicated slopes in the woods and, for those who want, the possibility to take the chairlift with their Fat Bike.

Apres ski

Ski hard, party harder. A lot of people seem to believe so. There is a good amount of apres-ski bars and diskos where you can shake it off and party the evening away. They close by 8-9 p.m., but this is the winter sports world! Everyone has to be fresh and sober early in the morning the next day.
If you want to look like a pro-party-people, definitely wear a sweater in the apres-ski place. Jump on the tables, drink tons of cocktails and beer, and be cool! Still wearing your snowboard or ski boots gives you extra points.
